4. The Full-o-Bull Platter at Cowtown Diner, Fort Worth.

In fact, entrants must also finish six pounds of mashed potatoes and 10 slices of Texas toast. So far no one has beaten the challenge, but almost 200 have tried and failed.

5. The 15 Dozen Club at Acme Oyster House.

Can you scarf over 180 bivalves in under one hour? If so, head to Louisiana where you can become part of the highly exclusive 15 Dozen Club at Acme Oyster House. Keep eating as fast as you can and you might even break the record, which stands at 564 oysters (eaten in 8 minutes by professional eater Sonya Thomas).

So what’s on this monster sandwich? Cheese steak, cheese burgers, pastrami, bacon, chicken fingers, mozzarella, fried eggs, jalapeños poppers, onion rings, chili, marinara sauce and Fat Sauce. Of 800 people to have taken this outrageous challenge, only two professional eaters have succeeded.
